Day Ten Challenge: Drink Lemon Water

On our very first day of the challenge, we discussed the importance of proper hydration. We focused on water intake day one, because it is so foundational to our health and how we feel throughout our day.

Today, we will not only give attention to water intake once again, but add fresh lemon to it.

Lemon adds not only flavor to our water, but a whole host of health benefits to our body.

Here are just a few health benefits of consuming lemon water:

  • Supportive to liver health, detoxifying.

  • Great for skin health (vitamin C).

  • Fresh aroma boosts mood.

  • Supports immune health (vitamin C).

  • May help with weight loss.

  • Helpful for your digestive system.

As you can see, there are many reasons you’ll want to squeeze more lemon into your water. Today’s challenge is an easy one, by encouraging you to do just that! Take one fresh lemon and squeeze it into either a pitcher of water or tall glass. This is a great habit to continue daily. Cheers to your health!
