On Guard Protective Blend

This has been one of my favorite essential oil blends for protecting + supporting the body’s immune system.

The first time I opened up the cap on this bottle the aroma was totally my jam. Wild orange, cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus, and rosemary jive so well together. I wasn’t to sure what to do with it, so I added a few drops to my essential oil diffuser and let it blast.

I dove into some studies on Pubmed regarding the protective properties of these oils and researched on how else to put this blend to good use.

Let me share a few ways I personally use it beyond diffusing aromatically.

Natural cleaning protects: All-Purpose sprays, laundry detergent, rug deodorizer, sanitizing mist - basically to clean all the things.

In tea - I love the warming flavor and beneficial properties I’m receiving. One drop with some fresh squeezed lemon is delicious. Remedies - from supporting the immune system to a soothing scratchy throat, this essential oil blend is my go-to.

The quality of the essential oils in OnGuard don’t even compare to anything else available. DoTERRA has the most impressive + rigorous purity testing in the industry, as well as global sustainable sourcing that directly works with the growers, farmers and their communities. Their oils are part of a co-impact sourcing model that ethically takes care of everyone involved. Most other companies are using middlemen who don’t pay fairly, shortchange farmers and their families, then take the oil and adulterate it so they can sell more at at lesser price. The end result is a cheap essential oil labeled “pure” that you see on grocery store shelves. It’s inconsistent quality have made it challenging to use safely, which is why doTERRA is pushing forward an integrative approach backed by science. More and more data are being released on the science of essential oil usage and its vast array of benefits. But you need the real thing to do it. You need consistent quality to get reliable data and results. That is why doTERRA is our brand/company of choice.
