Creamy Green C Smoothie

My kids couldn’t get enough of this green smoothie! I high-fived my husband as they were drinking it and raving about it and then whispered to him, “there’s a whole avocado in it.”

It’s so satisfying when your kids delight over a healthy drink or meal. I’m usually pretty transparent on ingredients in my smoothie. They know why these drinks are green. But as far as avocado is concerned, we aren’t on that level yet. I’ll just toss one in a smoothie now and again so my kids get all those beneficial fats and vitamins. Maybe someday they’ll learn to love avocados all on their own like their mama.

This smoothie has the whipped up creamy goodness. The extra banana really sweetens it up nicely to offset and greens or avocado flavor if your kids are like mine and on the picky side. There’s tons of vitamin C from the pineapple and OJ, but the added Camu Camu powder gives an additional 328 mcg with just adding a teaspoon! This smoothie is a cold-kicker! It’s just delicious! Creamy green C smoothie recipe:

1/2 pineapple

2 bananas

1 avocado

Handful organic spinach

Two cups orange juice

Tablespoon chia sea

tsp camu camu powder

2 drops lemon oil

Blend with some ice until creamy & enjoy!
